Today I bought melons! They were on sale, and I'd been wanting some I could chop up and freeze so I have more options than just frozen strawberries to make smoothies from. So now I can make orange-mango (or at least orange-honeydew-cantaloupe, which tastes about the same) smoothies as well as strawberry smoothies. Mmm, tasty ( Read more... )

Back from parents. We watched a few episodes of Mythbusters and Iron Man and caught up a bit last night. My cousin T invited me to go with her to visit our grandparents in Ripon this weekend. Left yesterday morning around 8:30 and just got back now. I have Get Smart! YAY!

Got it earlier today. Headed over to Walmart first to get some shampoo and body wash and stuff first, cause I have to drive by Walmart to get to Best Buy, which is only across the street (well, and two parking lots, but whatever) from Best Buy, where I had a $15 Rewards Card. Which means that Get Smart only cost me $1.16!

Get Smart? Awesome movie. I mean, I went into the theatre mostly just as an ode to the old series (Nine is named after one of the main characters, after all) and not expecting it to be too impressive. Went canoing with JB today on Crystal River Canoe Tours or whatever its called over in Waupaca. Three and a half hours on the river getting stuck on rocks, tipping over, trying and failing to avoid other rocks, going under lots of bridges, and losing my sunglasses - OMG, SO FUN!
